House of Purpose Church
Raising Leaders to Generations
Set-up & Teardown Team
Your ministry will help us create the environment where people will encounter the living God of heaven and earth and His Bride, the Church. You will do this by setting up and cleaning and tearing down of supplies and equipment for Sunday services.
Your ministry will help us clearly communicate the truth about Jesus. You will set up the speakers, cables to the instruments and mics, video projectors. The tech will create the powerpoint presentations for worship if needed and the sermon. The tech will manage all of the video/sound elements during the entire service.
Your ministry will help lead us into the throne room of God and allow us to worship Him for who He is and what He has done and what He is getting ready to do. You will serve with other vocalists and musicians to help facilitate worship on Sunday mornings. You will help set-up the instruments, mics and staging, do a rehearsal and then help to facilitate worship at the Sunday morning services.
Your ministry will help break the ice for the Gospel as people enter our facility and begin to engage the community at Sanctuary. You will serve with other team members to help greet and engage every guest from the time they arrive until they leave. You will serve at one of our hospitality points – outside by gates, at the door to escort new guests, welcome desk helping with information or at the coffee table and the warming of our potluck meals twice a month.
Denver Rescue Mission
Please come help Darold and Dianna Sauer as they minister at Denver Rescue Mission. Be a part of a ministry which is seeing many people saved and lives transformed. The service is the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 5pm.
Colfax Motel Ministry
On the 1st and 3rd Monday’s you will find House of Purpose engaged in door-to-door East Colfax Motel Ministry. Here we bring burritos, pastries, resource lists, and most importantly prayer to the doors of the motel rooms. We see the power of the Gospel in full effect through this ministry.
Christian Riders In Faith (C.R.I.F)
C.R.I.F membership is exclusive to men and woman who share a common goal of true love for Jesus Christ, the ever-growing trust for God, one another and the continued passion of sharing God’s Word. "In God we trust" (IGWT) is our motto and we live by it. We have no conditions on the amount of trust we put into our Savior Jesus Christ. For more information click the logo.
Cross-Walk Revivals share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by carrying a 10 Foot Wooden Cross across the city and into the streets as symbol of Hope. Join House of Purpose as we minister on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month with Cross-Walk Ministries. We supply clothes, food, prayers, gospel messages, and music.
Men and Women of Purpose
House of Purpose serves dinner, then the Word on different topics using both live teaching and DVD’s from prominent Bible teachers. These studies have featured teachers like Craig Groeschel, Chip Ingram, and Jim Cymbala teaching on Soul Detox, Spiritual Warfare, Prayer, and the Holy Spirit. In addition we always take time to pray over our neighborhood, the church, and individuals.
Service Prayer Team
Your Ministry is the engine room of the church. The service team is a group of people dedicated to the ministry of prayer and intercession. You pray for the services to impact the lives those attend and witness the fruit of seeking God for the services at the House of Purpose.
House of Purpose serves a lunch after our church service on the 3rd Sunday of the month. We are following a model set by the early church in Acts. Acts 2:42 (NLT) All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
